Skeleton Labeling


Nasal-an elongated rectangular bone that forms the bridge of the nose

Lacrimal-small fragile bone making up part of the front inner walls of each eye socket and providing room for the passage of the lacrimal ducts

Parietal-A bone forming the central side and upper back part of each side of the skull

Maxilla-The bone of the upper jaw which serves as a foundation of the face and supports the orbits

Mandible-The medical term for the lower jaw

Frontal-The bone that forms the front part of the skull and the upper part of the eye sockets

Temporal-Either of a pair of bones that form part of the side of the skull on each side and enclose the middle and inner ear.

Zygomatic-The bone that forms the prominent part of the cheek and the outer side of the eye socket

Ethmoid-  one of the eight bones of the cranium; a small bone filled with air spaces that forms part of the eye sockets and the nasal cavity
